Nyima Funk

Nyima Funk grew up in lovely Ann Arbor, MI. After college, she joined The Second City Main Stage in Chicago and won a Joseph Jefferson award for Best Actress. Her television credits include Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Key & Peele, Barely Famous, Son of Zom, The Soul Man, Wild ‘N Out, The George Lopez Show, Why? With Hannibal Burress, Chasing Life, Basketball Wives LA, According to Jim, Girlfriends, Thank God You’re Here, and The Oprah Winfrey Show. Nyima sings the theme song for TV Land’s hit show Teachers. She regularly performs improv in Los Angeles with The Black Version, Mama’s Boy and The 313. When she’s not working, Nyima is a PTA mom who spends time with her super-hot husband, Joshua Funk, and her beautiful children, Ziza and Moze.
